CSMLS shines a light on the real MVPs of the pandemic with help from Dr. Hayley Wickenheiser

The CSMLS aims to give Canadians a deeper insight into the important role that medical laboratory professionals play in our healthcare system. An Indigo Lab Coat of Honor for Wickenheiser was created, designed with his insightful ode to lab professionals printed in microscopic text, to be worn in recognition of CSMLS members. The campaign was launched with an online video coat indigolab.ca.

“It’s really important, especially over the past two years, that the general public understand the meaning behind the behind-the-scenes work of our members,” said the CEO of the CSMLS. Christine nielsen. “Like Dr. Hayley wickenheiser Said, in hockey, we talk a lot about our frontline superstars. In the health field, we believe the superstars are all medical laboratory professionals across the country. They’re the ones behind every test, every swab and really behind every Canadian who works to keep us all healthy. “

The Arrivals + Departures campaign features OOH advertising in targeted regions, including Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto and Halifax, as well as paid digital media on YouTube, all heading to IndigoLabCoat.ca to see the full story of Coat of Honor. The mantle of honor will also be on display to the public, including the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame and the Vaughan Mills Mall, throughout December.
