PThe arts in North East England need further government support as the region continues to experience some of the highest rates of Covid-19 cases in the country.
Seven local authorities in Tyne and Wear, Northumberland and County Durham, and five local authorities in Tees Valley, will receive additional support.
It will start on Monday and last for five weeks, and includes the possibility of providing additional testing in these targeted areas, the provision of logistical support to maximize the use of vaccines and tests, and additional aid for public health campaigns. local.
