SGPGIMS 2022 recruitment notice: Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute Of Medical Sciences, Rae Bareli Road, Lucknow, UP (India) has issued a recruitment notification for the post of Sister Grade-II, Technician (Radiology), Technician (Radiography)/ Radiotherapy wing, Medical Lab Technologist and Technologist of junior medical laboratory.

Eligibility Criteria for SGPGIMS Positions

Education Qualification:

  • Sister Grade-II B – B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized institute or university OR B.Sc. (Post Certificate) / Post Basic B. Sc Nursing from an institute or university recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. Registered as a Registered Nurse and Midwife with the State/India Board of Nursing OR Diploma in General Midwifery Nursing from an Indian Board of Nursing. Registered as a Registered Nurse and Midwife with the State/Indian Board of Nursing. Two years of experience in a hospital with a minimum of 50 beds after having acquired the study diploma mentioned above.
  • Technician (Radiology) – 10+2 with science subjects or equivalent from a recognized board/university. Diploma (2-year course) in X-ray techniques from a recognized institution. 1 year of experience as a radiologist. OR BBSc. (Hons.) (3-year course) in Radiography from a recognized university/institution.
  • Technician (Radiography) / Radiation Therapy Wing C – 10+2 with science subjects or equivalent from a recognized commission/university. Diploma (2-year course) in radiology/radiation therapy techniques from a recognized institution. 1 year of experience as a radiographer/radiation therapy technician.
  • Medical Laboratory Technologist – Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology/Medical Laboratory Science from a government. recognized university/institution with two years of relevant experience in a laboratory attached to a hospital with at least 100 beds.
  • Junior Medical Laboratory Technologist – 10+2 with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology) and 2 years of regular degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from any government. recognized university/institution with one year of relevant experience in a laboratory attached to a hospital with at least 100 beds.

Age limit:

  • Maximum – 40 years
  • Minimum – 18 years old

Selection process for SGPGIMS positions

The selection will be made on the basis of the scores obtained in the Common Recruitment Test (CRT) only.

A proficiency test/technical exam will be conducted after the Common Recruitment Test (CRT), whenever required, e.g. Stenographer, Personal Assistant (PA), Lower Division Assistant (LDA) positions currently.
