MK Dons took to Twitter to praise Troy Parrott, after the man on loan from Tottenham shone in their 2-0 win over Bolton.
What is the story?
Well, the 20-year-old Spurs loanee failed to add to his four goals this season, although he delivered a superb performance nonetheless.

MK Dons described Parrott as “sensational” on Twitter, which could even be described as an understatement – he was so good.

The Republic of Ireland international had a quiet day on the attacking front, even though he ran into the ground and put in admirable effort.
As WhoScored shows, Parrott won seven free kicks for his team, more than any other player on the pitch, and also completed 81.6% of his passes.
It was a terrific performance and MK Dons hilariously highlighted his exceptional work rate through the use of a GIF, which you can see below.

The win puts MK Dons third in Ligue 1, and they have a fantastic chance of securing promotion to the Championship.
Troy Parrott can succeed at Tottenham
Some fans may argue that Parrott needs to score more goals in Ligue 1 if he wants to succeed at Tottenham.
However, North Londoners need to be patient with the Irishman as it doesn’t always click straight away for young forwards – just ask Harry Kane.
You may recall that the number 10 and Tottenham talisman initially struggled early in his career while on loan at various clubs.
Kane struggled to find the back of the net during loan spells at Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich and Leicester, before rising to fame under Mauricio Pochettino.
If that’s not a reason to be patient with Parrott, who obviously has a lot of talent, then we don’t know what is.
